K- Improvisation Workshop
This is a video of a jazz improvosation workshop I organized on my own at Westlake Boys High School in Auckland, New Zealand. I propsed it to the Big Band asking who in the ensemble wanted to learn how to improvise and I was overwhelmed with the hands that went up. Almost every hand was up, so I opened it up to the whole music department and it turned out to be a hit. There was a wide range of talent from beginniners to some of their more advanced players.
P- How is Sound Produced?
This is a video of a lesson I did at Westlake Boys. It was to a 3rd form core music class (which is equivalent to the American 8th grade). This lesson was a demonstration to them about how sound is produced, travels through the air, and to show them it is a physical thing that could damage your ears.
